Thank you for your interest in TransPath! Our volunteers are the core of our foundation, and we value their time and efforts. Much of the organization is done through our nonprofit’s discord server, which volunteers gain access to upon joining our community.

Our volunteer community serves two vital purposes:
First, our volunteers are the first line of support for new arrivals, providing assistance, advice, emotional support and most importantly, community for anyone who needs it.
We rely on our members to provide critical information, local services, and resources.
By using our discord server, our volunteers can arrange phone calls, happy hours, coffee meetings and other social activities. We strive to be a third place for all queer people!
Second, our volunteers provide short and medium-distance rides to individuals in need of transportation. These individuals are the first responders for helping trans people in hostile states. Need a ride to the train station? These are the people who are here to help! Volunteering to help with these rides is also organized through our discord server.
