Our Current Services

TransPath provides the following services:

Transportation: For many, the cost of uprooting and moving their life to a new state is prohibitively expensive. Beyond the obvious expenses, such as plane/bus tickets, many lack access to transportation to travel hubs. Many times the cost of a ride to the bus station can be as expensive as the ticket itself. TransPath provides funding and logistical support to individuals in need. We have a network of volunteers who can provide short-and-medium distance transportation free of charge.

Acclimation Support: Transitioning to another state means saying goodbye to your chosen family. For queer people, this can mean tackling a new city completely alone. This can make acclimating to new cities/states very difficult and hard to navigate. TransPath provides access to a robust volunteer/peer community to help you make your new location feel like home. Need help moving? Need someone to look at an apartment for you before you move? A couch to sleep on while you wait for your new apartment to be ready? Looking for the best takeout, church or thrift store? Ask our volunteers for input and they will provide it!

Housing Support: With the cost of living increasing dramatically, we all need some help occasionally. For the particularly vulnerable, we offer bespoke funding opportunities via small donation and personalized GoFundMe pages. While we cannot directly provide housing at this point, we can help make the process easier to manage. Our volunteers can recommend queer-friendly neighborhoods an provide details about potential places to live.
